ATTN STEVE MOORE: FUCK YOU WHITE BOY!

"Halliburton Piggies" was featured on the latest episode of "The Brutal Backhand", while "A Great Distance" was played by the Bite Size Bonus June podcast. Thanks for the support. Also, a big thanks goes to everyone who has been checking out the site and downloading the music as of late, most notably Herndon, Virginia. I don't know what's happening there but thanks!

A message "ATTENTION STEVE MOORE: FUCK YOU WHITE BOY!" was sent from film director Reynaldo Reyes after Moore declined to sing his lyrics for a new soundtrack song called "The Creator". To get an idea, read "I am the puppeteer. I took away one of the five senses in humans so that they can feel pain! And fear me! Ha Ha Ha I am the devil himself! STOP!" Check his blog for his mysterious RUN DMC spiritual encounter.

New Post Death Soundtrack material has been added to the site. The album is in it's final stages and ideas are already forming in regards to a remix album. New photos have been added to www.postdeathsoundtrack.com from the recent session with Michael Seelt (photo shown below). "Music as Weaponry" coming soon.

MUSIC SECTION

03/23/08 - Major changes have been completed in the 'Music' section, namely - individual track downloads for the new CD "An Offering" are just $0.60 each now, adding up to $6.00 for a full CD download. We don't have a database at the moment that will allow you to choose your price (aka Radiohead) but we felt this was a big enough price drop to make the download more than worthwhile. Previews have also been extended. We want Innersurge.com to be the headquarters for all Inner Surge material on the net, so we will constantly expand the features and content here. Go to the 'Music' section to support the project.

Insight, rage and airplay from the South

Feb 14, 2008 - Valentine's indeed. Enjoy "The Monroe Doctrine" live in our "Videos" section thanks to Shaun Friesen and FreeZen.

Our friends over at Bands against Bush Worldwide have posted the track "Halliburton Piggies" as the feature track for you to check out. Visit them at www.myspace.com/bandsagainstbushworldwide.
Also, Preying Lizard Music has debuted the track "From the Depths" over at www.preyinglizardmusic.com.

David Cogswell, writer of the popular political website "Headblast" at www.davidcogswell.com, had some insightful and kind things to say about Inner Surge this week.

"Sane Vibrations -- Musical consciousness emanating from the relatively civilized country to the north. With the major media almost entirely corrupted by right-wing slime consciousness and corporatist consumerist propaganda, one must seek outside of that realm to find any authentic cultural messages. Rock and roll was at its root a medium of alternative culture and consciousness, though of course it is constantly under attack, being undermined and exploited by the same predatory corporate forces that now have the neck of civil society under their collective boot all around the world. Hence music becomes Britney Spears, currently one of the top "artists" in the world. So it's always great to discover a strong, authentic voice that is not coopted by corporatist consciousness. I just discovered a Canadian band called Inner Surge, which calls itself a political metal band and has intense political messages in its music with such titles as "Halliburton Piggies", "The Monroe Doctrine" and "Limb from Limb" and music videos for "Wolves" (based on the Rwandan genocide) and "Retribution Song". You can check them out at "www.innersurge.com"

Now for more of the Good Word

More news will be announced as it happens. A lot is in the works right now.
