Post Death Soundtrack is the antithesis of today's mainstream culture, creating confrontational music by weaving - industrial, electronic, trip-hop and rock sounds. Post Death Soundtrack is a duo made up of Steve Moore and Kenneth Buck, who share vocal, musical, and production roles. In this project style is less important than mood, as it strives to encourage thought and communication on a deep level. Musically and lyrically, Post Death Soundtrack is not afraid to provoke. Songs such as "Axe of Fiction", "The Pre-emptive Art", "Decentralize" and "Long Cold Night" have been garnering attention and airplay as the band's debut CD "Music as Weaponry" reaches it's final stages. "Music as Weaponry", a conceptual album, focuses on the process of belief, it’s role in the development of ideological institutions and their relation to ongoing violence, including the death of modern music. The result is the use of music as something new and powerful, lending a voice in the harmonization of the counterculture. |
